The Matt Mills Reining Team came home from the NRHA Futurity with some more hardware, this time it was Mark Blake and his all-star gelding Plum Gotta Gun that won the Limited Non-Pro Affiliate and finished in the Top 5 in the NP, INP, and PTNP Affiliate classes, taking home roughly $2000 !!! Pretty awesome considering this was the duo’s first time competing in OKC. In Open action, Matt finished in the Top 10 in the ultra competitive $75,000 Shoot-Out… taking that spot and earning $5000+ was Gotta Trigger Man, the 4yr old palomino stallion owned by Marybeth Thompson and Tim Ruckman. Matt and ” Hitman ” haven’t even had much time to train at home and have still been consistently finishing strong in the ring!
