At the 2005 Reining By The Bay Show in California, Matt Mills was Champion in the Intermediate Open Derby on Easy Otie Whiz, owned by Out West Stallion Station LLC/Bobbie Cook. Matt was also the Reserve Champion in the Open Derby on Easy Otie Whiz.

Riding Miss HD Rosalie, owned by Steve and Lea Ann Hungate, Matt was 4th in the Intermediate Open Derby. On Willy Wonka Chic, owned by Rick Ford/Cinder Lakes Ranch, he was 8th in the Intermediate Open Derby and 9th in the Open Derby.

Matt’s assistant Ori Ostrowsky was 3rd in the Limited Open Derby on Hickorys Dr. Pepper, owned by Kevin M. Harris, DDS.
