We’ve been Very busy so far this summer, first we took the whole crew up to Reining By The Bay in Woodside, CA and had a strong showing!!  Recently we just returned from The Slide on the Beach in San Diego where we not only got a much needed break from the desert heat but also brought home some Serious hardware.  Kate Buchanan kicked things off by winning the Ladies class with a 72 on her new horse In It For The Chics, she had a SWEET run.  Kate followed that up with a 1, 2 finish in the Youth.  9 year old Caroline Buchanan completed her 1st REAL pattern in the GAG on Joses T Chex, she was awesome and walked out with 5th place.  Janice Dickson made her DEBUT in reining on her mare Fri Dee Nite Spook, everything was great for her first time and she slid in 6th place.  Lastly, I got some good schooling in and managed to walk away with wins in the Open and Gents on Smokin Nu Chex owned by Dr Bill Megdal and the Nov 2 on Mia Little Whiz owned by Janice Dickson.
