Just like in school, it’s a good idea to give you and yourself pop quizzes. After doing several sessions of groundwork to improve flexion, Matt jumps on in the round pen and continues the flexion work while riding.
Sometimes the smallest things make ALL the difference to your horse. Here’s another flexion exercise for Ty and Cowboy that should help them out.
Here’s a great flexion exercise that’s VERY EASY for any level horseman to get done. This is working towards improving that flexion that Ty and Cowboy are after. Sometimes slowing down and taking things to the ” ground ” will speed up your horses improvement down the road when you jump back on their back.
In this session Matt climbs on Cowboy and begins work on improving his flexion as well as come up with a plan for owner Ty to take home and use himself.
After doing several sessions that were broken up through out a few hours it’s time do check and see if Ty’s horse Cowboy has learned anything. This final session shows that if you take the time to evaluate what your actual issue is, coming up with a game plan to improve doesn’t have to be painful.
Team member Ty Jones from Flagstaff, AZ brought his horse Cowboy down for some work on flexion and suppleness. Watch and see where the two of them are at and then follow along as we progress.
