4 year old buckskin stalliom Wimps Cool Breeze, a.k.a ” Stoney ” owned by Janice Dickson has been on a consistent roll!  At the NRHA Derby in June, Matt and Stoney teamed up for some huge stops and a huge score of 222 in the go-round to earn a berth in the L4 and L3 Finals.  In the Finals they came back and scored a Very respectable 219.5 to finish in the middle of the pack and cash a nice check.  Making the Finals at major events is never easy and now Stoney has made 2 of the 3 that he’s gone in.

Just a few weeks later Matt and Stoney teamed up again at the Reining By The Bay in Woodside, CA.  With an even Better performance than OKC, Stoney posted a 223 to place 5th in L4 Open Derby and 3rd in the L3.  Matt also rode George Ranzau’s Rawhide Whiz Kid for the 1st time and scored a 218.5 and a strong placing, right behind him was Matt and Colonel Chicolena owned by Mark Blake posting a 217.  Competition was Very tough out there but all of our mounts held up great!
