Trying to improve our horse is what we ALL should be striving for, but let’s not forget, us riders need work as well.
** HORSES SHOULD HAVE THE ABILITY TO WALK, JOG, LOPE AND HAVE ADEQUATE STEERING**
(If you’re not sure, send me a video to confirm before registration.)
** horse and rider current skill level will determine how in depth the teaching goes.

DAY TWO – AUGUST 4
SPINS WITH TIMING AND FEEL
While maintaining what we learned from Day One, we will work on everything related to improving the spin maneuver. If your horse does not spin “well,” we will work on beginning or setting it up.

9 – 11am | Discussion about the spin … different styles and philosophies with demonstration. Any time left: we will start individual work. |

2:30 – 3:00 pm | Create a plan for each rider with their horse (homework!) |
3:00 – 5:00 pm | 4 riders – focused spin work with an emphasis on finesse |
5:00 – 5:30 pm | Create a plan for each rider with their horse (homework!) |
